Our group wants to reserve a picnic pavilion/shelter or picnic area, how do I reserve one?
Picnic pavilions must be rented at least one week in advance. If you are planning an event that will restrict usage of the park to the public, a permit must be requested and issued. Any picnic pavilion not reserved as a rental is on a first come-first served basis. Call 708-596-3366 for details. Picnic areas are free and available to the public on a first come-first serve basis.
How can I find out about programs and activities?
You can register to receive our seasonal program brochure by providing our office with a name, email address and phone number. You can also view our current programs online.
I want to register for a program, how do I do that?
You can register for a program or event in person at our administrative office located at 16053 Richmond Ave. or by mailing in a registration form along with your payment.
I saw something at a city park that was missing, damaged, vandalized, etc. Who do I contact to report this?
To report a maintenance problem contact the supervisor of maintenance at 708-596-3366. In the event of an unsafe, dangerous situation or medical emergency call 911.
I have an idea for a new program, class or activity. Who do I contact?
